Peter  Segreti started his career in law enforcement in 1985 with the New York City Police Department.  In 1996 he was assigned to the Emergency Service Unit (ESU), During his sixteen (16) year tenure with ESU, Peter was selected, and then became a primary instructor for the unit for eleven (11) years.  There he designed and developed a myriad of training programs for ESU and other specialized units of the New York City Police Department covering all aspects of tactical deployments and sniper applications in several different environments.   

In 2011 Peter was assigned to the Joint Terrorist Task Force (JTTF), which included the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and select members of the New York City Police Department.  During his service with ESU and the JTTF, Peter was involved in high-risk apprehensions involving terrorist threats to the City of New York.  In 2013 Peter retired from the New York City Police Department with twenty-eight (28) years of service. 

Peter started a training company in 2006, PDS Tactical LLC.  Peter Has been conducting advanced training for law enforcement, security guards and responsible civilians. Peter has trained numerous agencies around the United States.     

Peter is a NYSDCJS certified firearms, general topics instructor and armed security guard instructor for the state of New York and has participated in the creation of the New York State DCJS SWAT and Sniper training standards. He also is a certified Department of Homeland Security Instructor and holds several other certifications.
