Asymmetric Ballistic Shield Deployments

Service Description

This course exposes the attendee to the distinct advantages and offensive capabilities of deploying ballistic shields in response to a barricade, terrorist type attack or during a high-risk warrant service on a suspect. The attendee will be provided with the skills and information needed to deploy ballistic shields effectively and efficiently so as to distract, isolate, and ultimately neutralize a threat. The attendee will not only learn how to protect himself/herself with a ballistic shield but will also learn how to utilize a ballistic shield to cover and protect teammates or other law enforcement personnel in a high‐risk environment. This information can be used by Patrol or Tactical Team. Attendees will learn to operate as a small element, full tactical team, or as a Quick Reactionary Force (QRF), deploying in a high‐risk environment. 1 to 4 Day class available with or without out live fire range.
